THE WORKFLOW

Precision.
Step by step.

From data acquisition to final manufacturing, discover how our integrated 3D planning ensures exact anatomical fit for every patient.

01

Initial consultation and diagnosis

Clinical examination of the patient and diagnosis of the pathology.

02

Medical imaging acquisition

A CT scan of the patient is performed at the hospital and the medical team uploads the study to the Valor Implant digital platform.

03

Initial Digital 3D model and case preparation and diagnosis

The engineers process the CT scan and generate a digital 3D model of the patient. Based on this model, a 3D mechanical and functional analysis of the patient?s condition is carried out.

04

Surgical planning meeting

The medical team defines the desired correction and agrees on the characteristics of the customized implants and surgical guides.

05

Implant and guide design

The engineering team performs computer-aided design (CAD) of the customized implant and guides based on the final planned correction.

06

Surgeon validation

The proposed personalized materials are sent to the surgeon via the digital platform. The surgeon reviews the design and, if no modifications are required, approves it with a single click.

07

Additive manufacturing

Manufacturing of the materials using 3D printing technology and thorough quality control prior to dispatch.

08

Delivery to the hospital

Shipment of the materials to the hospital days before the intervention to allow proper preparation in accordance with the hospital’s sterilization processes.

09

Surgery with personalized materials

Following the case-specific Surgical Technique, the surgical team uses the guides to perform precise cuts and drilling, and secures the correction with the customized implants to achieve the planned outcome.

10

Postoperative evaluation

Completion of an evaluation form regarding the surgery and follow-up of outcomes after the intervention.
